We have all seen Lee Morris’s original  iPhone photoshoot. It reminds us that even a simple iphone can still take great images, most importantly is the person behind the camera. You should not be limited by your camera. The iphone camera has became so sophisticated from a 3MP f/2.8 on the iphone 3GS  to a 8MP f/2.4 on the iphone 5. In addition to that, brilliant apps like Instagram, Hipstamatic, Twitter, Facebook have made photographing and sharing so much simpler.

If you ask me what’s the secret in making stunning images, I would have to say 1) great composition, 2) lighting, 3) models, 4) concepts, 5) location and 6) post production. These are the secrets in make images extraordinary. Camera gear does help to make good images, but you’ve got to grasp the above six important points first.

In this photoshoot, we steered away from our usual camera and lighting equipment, instead we used only the iPhone.
