On the same day as the announcement of Apple’s iPhone 6, Fujifilm releases a whole new successor of the X100 family – X100T (Official page). We have seen the refinements on the X100S with the redesigned viewfinder, more exposure controls and electronic shutter. What else are there to improve on? The X100T shares the same core features with 16 megapixel CMOS sensor with X-Trans color filter array and 23mm f/2 lens with EXR Processor II, but almost everything else is refined and the appearance certainly has been tweaked.

The X100T is packed with new features:

Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder – A highly accurate manual focusing in an optical viewfinder. The simultaneous display of the EVF area on the screen of the optical viewfinder enables accurate focusing in real time

New Rear layout –  After feedback from consumers, the design philosophy and layout of the rear of the camera has been standardized on X series models. Using a selector button and command dial enables smoother and more accurate operation.

New Classic Chrome mode – Classic Chrome reproduces colors shown in photo-historical film, with rich colors reminiscent of the old reversal era.

Shutter speed of 1/32000s – The brand new electronic shutter delivers ultra-high-speed exposures up to 1/32000sec. Shallow depth-of-field effects can now be shot with the aperture wide open even in snow or on the beach under clear skies.

Wifi – With the new dedicated “FUJIFILM Camera Remote” application, you can focus and trigger the camera release from your smartphone or tablet. The app not only lets you adjust focus, but also control settings like shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation and ISO sensitivity.

Upgraded operability – New multi target auto area AF, bright frame coverage to 92%, new face detection, interval timer, ISO from 100 – 51200, USB cable charging and more.

You can order your new Fujifilm X100T here.
