An addition to my Nikon collection is the 14-24mm f/2.8. Consider that Canon and Nikon are increasing their prices in Feb, 09. I hope I have struck at the right time to get this amazing wide angle lens.
This lens first came out in 2007, so a fairly new lens, but undoubtly rated as one of the top lenses.
The lens has a maximum picture angle of 114 degrees
Finally, my complete set of fast lens
Left: Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8
Centre: Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8
Right: Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8
The lens certainly makes my D700+grip look small.
