It was a privilege to be the photographer of this beautiful Wairarapa (Featherston) wedding at Tarureka Estate. I adore barn weddings, in particular the rustic charm, laid back opulence and wooden features. Shani and Michael contacted me when they saw their cousin’s wedding photos (which I was the photographer of) which also happens to be a barn wedding.
The day started off with both sides of the party getting ready at the Tarureka Eastate. The ceremony took place at the chapel area upstairs, the rustic barn surrounded by the stunning landscape creates such a picturesque setting. We have had so many beautiful photos taken from the beginning of the day, through sunset and till the stars come out. Shani and Michael were a wonderful couple, their passion to each other shows in every single photo.
