{"id":1036,"date":"2009-12-11T02:27:00","date_gmt":"2009-12-10T13:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentyuphotography.com\/blog\/2009\/12\/nikon-70-200mm-f2-8-vrii-test-shot.html"},"modified":"2012-02-23T19:47:10","modified_gmt":"2012-02-23T06:47:10","slug":"nikon-70-200mm-f28-vrii-test-shot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentyuphotography.com\/blog\/nikon-70-200mm-f28-vrii-test-shot\/","title":{"rendered":"Nikon 70-200mm f\/2.8 VRII Test Shot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\">Recently, I had a <a href=\"http:\/\/kentkc.blogspot.com\/2009\/12\/model-gigi.html\" target=\"_blank\">photo shoot<\/a> with the new <a href=\"http:\/\/kentkc.blogspot.com\/2009\/12\/finally-got-nikon-70-200mm-f28-vrii.html\" target=\"_blank\">Nikon 70-200mm f\/2.8 VRII<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Here is a test shot taken right before the photo shoot. The shot was taken handheld to test the<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">response of the AF \u2013 I didn&#8217;t have any problem with the AF. It was fast and accurate even during low light in the evening. I didn\u2019t recall any long AF hunting.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">sharpness of the lens \u2013 the 100% crop image speaks for itself<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">VRII \u2013 I did notice the difference between VRII and VR. Camera shake is less apparent even at low shutter speed.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\">I have also noted my first impression of the lens <a href=\"http:\/\/kentkc.blogspot.com\/2009\/12\/finally-got-nikon-70-200mm-f28-vrii.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">The settings were f\/4, ISO 400, 1\/125s, f=200mm<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/lh\/photo\/M5oCcrFQ33CzJ2h8E4vS1A?authkey=Gv1sRgCJCG-9nB3_HHOg&amp;feat=embedwebsite\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh6.ggpht.com\/_hBHN-xn5gSU\/SyGkBeQ_axI\/AAAAAAAAV78\/0Gdxssg-4eM\/s800\/_ND15427.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Here is a 100% crop on the eye straight out of the camera. Amazingly, you can find three people in this image.
