Here is a little project I did recently. Like many wedding photographers, I always use two cameras and I like to have them with me all the time. I have tried other system like the Think Tank Modular system<\/a>, but I still like the double camera strap idea. For a number of years, I have been using the BlackRapid double strap<\/a> and find it to be reasonable. However the material (nylon) used on the BlackRapid tends to stretch and gets pull out of shape after a while. Also I am not a fan of its look especially for a wedding. On the other hand, Matthew from HoldFast gear<\/a> has come up a luxury line of leather camera gear from camera straps to bags. His Money Maker<\/a> line of camera strap looks beautiful and stylish. The leather material used is solid and stable which fits to the body perfectly. If you are looking for a double camera strap, forget about the BlackRapid get yourself  a Camera Swagg<\/a> which is about the same price as the BlackRapid or if you prefer a bit more luxury get a Money Maker<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I love the idea of leather camera strap, so I thought this could be something I can make. I sat down one afternoon and gather all the parts and start putting it together. The making of it is pretty simply, you will need the following parts and a pair of clever hands.  I have made the first version of my own double camera strap, it doesn\u2019t have the fancy leather patterns and hooks that the Money Maker has but I am pretty happy about it. It holds two cameras perfectly, in fact it fits much better and more snuggle than the nylon BlackRapid which tends to stretch and move around.<\/p>\n
